Yesterday Marion Stewart visited us and she explained what happens to her wool. She has sheep at her farm but they are very different to Doug's sheep. She has sheep just for their special coloured wool. She showed us how it changes from fleece to balls of wool. She did some spinning on a special spinning wheel. The wool was then put into skeins on another machine and finally it was rolled into balls so you can use it to knit with. She showed us some jumpers and jackets she made from her wool. We learnt some new words like niddy noddy and swift.
